Principal's Message

Welcome to Miramonte Elementary, home of the Mighty Mustangs!

At Miramonte, we believe that every student has the ability to learn, grow, and achieve at high levels. Our responsibility is to create an environment where every child is known, valued, challenged, and supported. We believe in high expectations and high support, because every child deserves a fair break and every child deserves the opportunity to discover and reach their full potential.

Our vision is to inspire every Mustang to achieve excellence, lead with character, and positively impact the world through a lifelong commitment to learning, service, and growth in Mind, Body, and Spirit. We know that academic achievement and character development go hand in hand. We want our students to leave Miramonte not only prepared for their next academic challenge, but also equipped to be responsible, compassionate, confident, and contributing members of their community.

We are committed to providing exceptional instruction for every student and using what we know about each child to determine how we can best support their growth. Through strong classroom instruction, meaningful relationships, collaboration, goal-setting, intervention, and ongoing reflection, we work together to ensure that students receive what they need to succeed. We believe that “every child” means every child and that our work is never finished until we have done everything we can to help each Mustang succeed.

At the heart of Miramonte is teamwork and trust. Education is built around relationships, and the partnership between students, families, teachers, staff, and our community is essential to our success. We believe that when we work together, communicate openly, and keep students at the center of every decision, we can accomplish remarkable things.

Most importantly, we want our students to know that they belong here, that they are capable of great things, and that their choices can make a difference. We will continue to challenge our Mustangs to grow as learners and as people while providing the encouragement, support, and opportunities they need to thrive.
